Assorted records documenting the administration and activities of the industries program at the prison and its successor, the Minnesota Correctional Facility. Included are transcripts of interviews with inmates involved in a July 20, 1899 twine shop insurrection; records concerning the prison industries' sales force, including salesmen and expert [machinists] time books and traveler's conference minutes; a report detailing the prison industries' accomplishments and future improvements; information on production of a bronze plaque for the Joseph R. Brown memorial wayside; general prison industries sales and financial records; repair department sales and financial records; records concerning regulation, market analysis, sales information, and profits and loss; industry employee manuals; payroll reports; research and analysis reports on personnel and poduction; and minutes and correspondence of the Inmate Workers' Council.
